See you in Melbourne. With the conclusion of the pool matches the Comets along with the Stingers will be your NSW Conference representatives in the the 2026 NPL Final D2 Series.

Being a Canberra-based team our players took their professionalism to the next level. This includes organising sponsors to help lessen the financial burden and sacrificing some family time by traveling a day early so there was no excuses of travel fatigue on game day.

Although we had the choice to use players from the entire NSW reserve list when one of our players were injured/away, we made a conscious decision to only use ACT players as reserves – demonstrating the depth we are building here in the Territory. They are much as part of the team as our starting 4.

This is now the second time (out of 3 seasons) our Canberra-based team has qualified for the NPL D2 final series. With the quality of players emerging out of our big sister State we are definitely holding our own down here in the Capital 💙💛
